"We once again reaffirm our unwavering support for Ukraine in defending its territorial integrity and its right to exist, as well as its freedom, sovereignty and independence," the ministers said in a joint statement issued on Wednesday (November 12).
Ministers from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, along with the High Representative of the European Union, met on 11-12 November.

The meeting was also attended by officials from Brazil, India, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, South Korea, South Africa and Ukraine.
The G7 reaffirmed its commitment to the principle that "it is not permissible to use force to change international borders".
The G7 also discussed expanding financial support for Ukraine, including "further leveraging Russia's frozen state assets" to aid reconstruction.
The group said it was "increasing the economic costs to Russia" and considering additional actions against countries and entities that help fund Moscow's war.
The ministers also strongly condemned “recent direct attacks by Russia on energy infrastructure” and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening Ukraine's energy security.
The statement concluded by reaffirming the G7's support for "Ukraine's long-term prosperity, security and defense," pledging that member states would continue to coordinate aid "in a unified manner to support Ukraine."
