Meeting to celebrate 5 years of publishing Tuyen Quang Weekend Newspaper

Attending the meeting were comrade Mai Duc Thong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper, Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association; representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association; comrades from the leadership of Tuyen Quang Newspaper from different periods, along with reporters, editors and collaborators of Tuyen Quang Newspaper.

With the goal of building a quality printed newspaper, deeply reflecting social issues from many perspectives, contributing to "softening" the local Party newspaper and attracting the attention of a large number of readers, on May 2, 2020, Tuyen Quang Weekend Newspaper published its first issue. To date, the publication has 12 pages, 260 issues have been published with over 5,000 copies/issue, with nearly 200 contributors participating.

Over the past 5 years, Tuyen Quang Weekend Newspaper has built its own identity by focusing on exploiting specialized topics, combining current news with unique literary elements, imbued with the identity of Tuyen Quang. The Editorial Board of Tuyen Quang Newspaper has established the Tuyen Quang Weekend Newspaper group with experienced writers, capable of expressing journalistic works in difficult genres such as reports, memoirs, and specialized and in-depth articles. Along with that, a team of collaborators who are scientists and experts in various fields has been built. Tuyen Quang Weekend Newspaper is introduced and published on electronic newspapers and social platforms, and is widely read by readers.

After 5 years of publication, Tuyen Quang Weekend Newspaper has achieved remarkable achievements, demonstrating the innovation and positive development of Tuyen Quang Newspaper. The publication has built its own identity, creating an impression in the hearts of readers. In particular, the weekend issue has contributed to "softening" the local Party newspaper, helping the local Party newspaper become closer and more attractive to the public.

At the meeting, delegates and collaborators participated in discussions and contributed ideas to improve the quality of Tuyen Quang Weekend Newspaper in both content and form, meeting readers' expectations.

He affirmed that the attention and support of a large number of readers has contributed to the success of the newspaper. Entering a new phase, the Editorial Board, reporters and collaborators continue to innovate, create and build an attractive and quality Tuyen Quang Weekend Newspaper publication to meet the information needs of readers in the digital age. At the same time, we will further strengthen our connection with the team of collaborators to build an increasingly high-quality and professional publication.

On this occasion, the Editor-in-Chief of Tuyen Quang Newspaper awarded 15 editors, reporters, technicians, and collaborators who had outstanding achievements in propaganda work for Tuyen Quang Weekend Newspaper in the period 2020-2025.
