Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of March 16, 2025

According to experts, world coffee prices as well as domestic coffee prices in Vietnam have continuously increased since the beginning of the year and set new records due to concerns about tightening global supply.

However, Arabica coffee prices have fallen for three consecutive sessions, to a two-week low, due to increasingly favorable weather in Brazil, with widespread showers forecast next week in Minas Gerais, Brazil's largest Arabica producing region, easing concerns about drought.

However, the Brazilian Coffee Industry Association (ABIC) predicts that in the coming time, world coffee prices will continue to increase because coffee cultivation in this country has been affected by adverse weather over the past 4 years.

It is forecasted that in the 2025-2026 coffee crop year, Brazil's coffee output will be the lowest in the past 3 years, reaching only 3.6 million tons, down 4.4% compared to the previous crop.

Rabobank expects ICE-certified robusta and arabica inventories to increase in the coming weeks, as both coffees have been trading at auction-like levels across a number of origins over the past few months. Rabobank expects this build-up in inventories to put upward pressure on prices in the coming weeks.

In terms of supply and demand, it is worth noting that Brazil, the world's largest coffee producer and exporter, accounting for nearly half of the world's output, will begin harvesting in July 2025.

In Vietnam, selling pressure is rising due to abundant supply. The market is also under pressure from concerns that sharp price increases could lead to a decline in consumption. In addition, investment funds are reducing long-term buying positions, and buying demand from roasters is also somewhat reduced.
