ANTD.VN - The average retail price of electricity will increase by 4.5% from today (November 9) to over 2,000 VND/kWh.

EVN informs about electricity price adjustment on the afternoon of November 9

This afternoon, Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) exchanged information on adjusting retail electricity prices.

Accordingly, the average retail electricity price is adjusted to increase by 4.5%, from VND 1,920.3/kWh to VND 2,006.79/kWh, excluding VAT. This is an increase under the authority of EVN.

This is the second time since the beginning of this year that electricity prices have been adjusted upward. Thus, from today, the average retail electricity price has increased by more than 86.41 VND/kWh compared to the old price.

With two increases this year, electricity prices have increased by more than 142.35 VND/kWh.

Mr. Vo Quang Lam - Deputy General Director of EVN said that the decision to adjust the average retail electricity price was approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on November 8.
