According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4:30 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 3,291.99 USD/ounce. Today's gold price is unchanged compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (26,286 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 104.3 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is about 14 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

Gold prices were volatile this week as investors grappled with conflicting news about tariffs and related legal rulings. However, many investors ultimately shrugged off the news and focused on technical analysis, which suggested the market was not as dramatic as the headlines.
Kitco News’s weekly gold price forecast shows a clear divide. Of the 14 Wall Street professionals, 43% see gold prices rising, 29% see them falling and 29% see them moving sideways. Meanwhile, 56% of the 2,490 Main Street retail investors are bullish.
Some experts believe that political factors such as tariffs, budget spending and volatility from the US government will continue to provide bullish momentum for gold. However, others warn that risks from legal rulings, the possibility of reaching a trade deal, or signals from the bond market could cause gold prices to fall.
Aside from the impact of President Trump’s statements and the tariff controversy, experts emphasize that the bigger driver for gold prices comes from long-term trends: central bank assets shifting away from the US dollar, inflation concerns and global geopolitical instability.
Adrian Day, president of Adrian Day Asset Management, said the reasons for gold’s rise were in place before Trump entered the White House. Diversification of reserve assets and fears of the weaponization of the dollar are causing many central banks to continue buying gold as a safe haven.
