SJC Company traded plain gold rings at 98.3 million VND/tael for buying, 100.3 million VND/tael for selling, down 100,000 VND/tael compared to the end of last week.

However, the price of plain gold rings varies between brands. PNJ sells plain gold rings for 100.7 million VND/tael; Bao Tin Minh Chau sells for 100.9 million VND/tael; Phu Quy sells for 101.2 million VND/tael. At some gold shops, the price of plain gold rings is traded at a lower level, around 97.6 million VND/tael for sale.

In the international market, the precious metal also aimed for the 3,100 USD/ounce mark when it just opened trading and climbed to 3,097 USD/ounce - an all-time high. By 9:00, Vietnam time, the gold price cooled down to 3,098 USD/ounce but was still at a record peak, exceeding all forecasts at the beginning of this year.

At the beginning of the year, the highest forecast for gold prices was around 3,000 USD/ounce at the end of the first quarter of 2025. However, today – the last day of the first quarter, gold prices have set a new peak of 3,097 USD/ounce in the context of the demand for gold that has not cooled down.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 96.2 million VND/tael.
