(NLDO)- Authorities in An Giang have identified the workplace of the teacher who went to a motel with a female student, causing a stir in public opinion in recent days.

Regarding the case of a teacher suspected of luring students to a motel in Long Xuyen ward, An Giang province, which has caused a stir in public opinion in recent days, on October 26, the People's Committee of Long Xuyen ward provided initial information about the incident.

According to the People's Committee of Long Xuyen ward, recently in the ward there was information about a person believed to be a teacher seducing students.

Through initial verification by the authorities, Mr. HTT (born 2003) is a guest teacher at Chuong Binh Le High School (non-public school) in Long Xuyen ward.

On October 23, Mr. T. and LHTM (born in 2009, an 11th grade student at another school) went to a motel in Long Xuyen ward to drink alcohol. The female student's family discovered it and reported it to the police.

"Currently, the case is being handled by the relevant authorities in accordance with the law. When there are official results, the Ward People's Committee will promptly provide specific information," said Ms. Doan Thi Huong Ha, Chairwoman of the Long Xuyen Ward People's Committee.

As reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, from the afternoon of October 24 to 25, social networks were flooded with clips and images of a young man in a white shirt and wearing glasses being rescued from an angry crowd by Long Xuyen Ward Police.
