Attractive prizes
Less than a week after the conclusion of the 3rd Vietnam Youth and Student Football Tournament - THACO Cup 2025, the 2025 International Youth and Student Football Tournament - THACO Cup will begin. Following the final match of the THACO Cup 2025 on the afternoon of March 16th, all six teams participating in the first-ever international student football tournament held in Vietnam have been determined: Ton Duc Thang University (host), Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism (winner of the THACO Cup 2025), University of Life (Cambodia), University of Laos, University of Malaysia, and Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).
Building on the success and widespread acclaim of organizing three seasons of the Vietnamese Youth and Student Football Tournament , Thanh Nien Newspaper, in collaboration with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), main sponsor THACO, and other partners, is organizing the International Youth and Student Football Tournament. The tournament promises exciting matches and top-tier technical performances from leading student teams in the region. Beyond being a platform for networking and connecting young talents, the tournament also offers incredibly attractive prizes.
The team from Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism has won the national championship.

The winning team will receive prestigious prizes, including a championship trophy, medals, a plaque, and a cash prize of $6,000. The runner-up team will receive a plaque and $4,000 in cash, while the third-place team will receive a plaque and $2,000 in cash.
Additionally, the Fair Play award for the team with the most beautiful playing style and fair-play spirit will be presented with a plaque and $1,500.
Individual awards will also be very attractive. The top scorer (the player who scores the most goals in the tournament) will receive $500. The best player of the tournament will receive $500. The best goalkeeper of the tournament will receive $500. The best referee team will receive $500. In addition, the best player and the player who scores the first goal of each match will receive $100 per match per person.

The 2025 International Youth and Student Football Tournament – THACO Cup is not just a competition on the field, but also a great opportunity for international teams to experience the culture, people, and beautiful scenery of Vietnam. The Organizing Committee is committed to ensuring the best conditions for all participating teams. All teams will be provided with comfortable and well-equipped accommodations, meeting the needs of both players and coaching staff, creating a relaxing space before matches.
The teams participating in the International Youth and Student Football Tournament are also provided with thoughtful arrangements for transportation and accommodation by the organizing committee.
Regarding transportation, international teams will have all travel expenses covered, including international airfare and transportation within Ho Chi Minh City. The organizers will provide shuttle services from the airport to the hotel, and transportation between competition venues and sightseeing spots.
Hopefully, the teams, especially those representing Southeast Asian countries, will not only bring back fond memories from the tournament but also have the opportunity to interact and experience the beauty of Vietnam, particularly Ho Chi Minh City – a place that always welcomes international friends with warmth and hospitality.
