Giang Thanh strives for 100% of students to complete primary school program

On the morning of September 25, the People's Committee of Giang Thanh commune (An Giang province) held a conference to summarize the 2024 - 2025 school year and set out directions and tasks for the 2025 - 2026 school year.

Vice Chairman of Giang Thanh Commune People's Committee Tran Ngoc Bich chaired the meeting.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Giang Thanh commune has 9 school units, including 3 kindergartens, 4 primary schools, 2 secondary schools; maintaining a total of 3,200 students with 105 classes by the end of the school year. 100% of students completed primary school; 100% of students graduated from secondary school.

To prepare for the new school year, Giang Thanh Commune People's Committee directed schools to renovate facilities, clean classrooms, and surrounding landscapes, especially at remote locations, to ensure the best conditions for the new school year.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Giang Thanh commune strives to maintain 66.67% of national standard schools; 100% of 5-year-old preschool children complete the program; 100% of students complete primary school; over 95% of students graduate from junior high school.

The commune maintains the standards of universal preschool education for 5-year-old children, universal primary education level 3, universal secondary education level 2 and illiteracy eradication level 2.
