Teachers and students from all over the province attend the special opening ceremony of the new school year

According to the beginning of the school year report of the Department of Education and Training, the province has 361 kindergartens, 279 primary schools, 338 secondary schools and 75 high schools with a total of over 509,000 students at all levels. Regarding the staff, civil servants, public employees and teachers, in the 2025-2026 school year, the entire education and training sector of the province will have more than 32,000 people.

In terms of facilities, the province currently has over 17,200 classrooms, the rate of solid classrooms at all levels in the province is over 70%, the minimum teaching equipment for basic classes has been provided, meeting from 45 to 60% depending on each subject. The Department of Education and Training directs schools to organize a short opening ceremony for the new school year, focusing on students. Educational institutions organize activities at the beginning of the school year suitable for the age of students, school conditions, and local reality; ensuring practicality and effectiveness to create trust and motivation for students to study.

In particular, the opening ceremony of the new school year 2025-2026 is also the occasion to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training ), so it is organized differently from previous years. Accordingly, the school's planned activities are organized concisely, ending before 8:00 a.m.

From 8:00 to 9:30, delegates, teachers, students and pupils will attend the joint program organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, which will be broadcast live. Important ceremonies will be performed in the joint program, including the flag salute, national anthem singing, General Secretary To Lam attending and speaking... Each school's own programs and activities will start earlier from 7:00 to before 8:00 or continue after the end of the joint program.

The new school year 2025 - 2026 has the theme "Discipline - Creativity - Breakthrough - Development". On the occasion of the opening of the new school year, provincial leaders attended the opening ceremony at schools with outstanding achievements in the province. Provincial leaders encouraged and praised the efforts of teachers and students of the schools in the past school year. At the same time, they presented flowers to congratulate the schools on the occasion of the opening of the new school year 2025-2026, donated money to the Scholarship Fund, awarded scholarships, and presented gifts to students who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies...
