Operating since April 2025, the "Charity Kitchen" of Ba Ria Hospital (established by the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Ba Ria - Vung Tau ) is always on fire regardless of the scorching sun or the raging storms. Every day at noon and in the afternoon, 1,000 meals are maintained by monks, nuns, and Buddhists from pagodas in the area (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) taking turns taking responsibility according to the registration schedule.

Every noon and afternoon, patients and their relatives at Ba Ria Hospital line up to receive a meal of love.
Each person has a job: some prepare vegetables, some cook, some distribute to patients. The cheerful voices and laughter dispel all worries.

The kitchen is maintained regularly twice a day at Ba Ria Hospital.

Venerable Thich Thien Thuan - Head of the Executive Board of "Charity Kitchen" kindly received utensils to prepare meals for the patient's family members.
"One meal, ten thousand loves" - that seems to be the motto and motivation to create nutritious dishes, ensuring food hygiene and safety, adding energy and joy to patients and relatives at the hospital.

Buddhists of Chanh Thien Pagoda prepare food for cooking.

The familiar path leading to the "Charity Kitchen" at Ba Ria Hospital
The giver of happiness, the receiver of peace. Tearful eyes hidden behind gentle smiles. In the midst of a precarious illness, a small portion of food filled with love, conveys much trust. "A bowl of rice filled with love. Warms love, brings peace to life."
