The conference, organized by the 2030 Entrepreneurs Club (under Saigon Times Group), affirmed Vietnam's position on the journey to become "Asia's new tiger", while shaping a smart integration roadmap for Vietnamese enterprises to connect with international capital, explore new markets and break out on the global map.

Vietnam - Asia's "new tiger" and the turning point of integration
Marking 10 years of pioneering and 7 times of great success of the Global Aspiration program, Go Global 2025 focuses on high-quality discussion sessions, "decoding" the most core issues for Vietnamese businesses on the integration journey: global economy , capital flows, artificial intelligence (AI), ESG (environment, society, governance) and connecting entrepreneurs.
Speaking at the opening session with the theme “Economic Compass - Shaping the Future”, Mr. Brook Taylor - CEO of VinaCapital, compared Vietnam to “Asia’s new tiger” with a GDP growth rate of 7.5%, a young population, an open integration platform and reform advantages. Mr. Taylor affirmed: “Vietnam is facing a historic opportunity to break through and rise to the group of high-income economies in the next two decades, if it knows how to seize the moment”.
In the discussion section of the first session of the conference with the theme “Global Finance - The Leader’s Playground”, Mr. Pham Hong Hai - General Director ofOCB Bank pointed out the strong shift of global capital flows into the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, renewable energy and infrastructure. This is an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to open the door to call for capital and participate more deeply in the international market.
Famous speakers such as Former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Quang Vinh; Mr. Vo Tri Thanh - Director of the Institute for Brand and Competitiveness Strategy Research; Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh (Shark Binh) - Chairman of NextTech also made many valuable contributions and comments on the story of finance, cash flow, interest rates, inflation... and development motivation for small and medium enterprises; at the same time, they highlighted the role of small and medium enterprises in economic development.

Digital transformation and AI: From "tools" to corporate "culture"
During the discussion on artificial intelligence, AI expert Albert Antoine affirmed: “AI is a tool, not a toy”. 80% of businesses investing in Generative AI recorded profits in the first year, but only 25% met expectations. The reason lies in the lack of a clear strategy and a sustainable AI culture.
“AI does not replace human creativity, but only enhances it,” Mr. Antoine emphasized, and recommended that leaders must link business strategy with AI strategy, measure return on investment (ROI) and most importantly, build an AI culture throughout the organization.
At the discussion session on digital transformation, Mr. Vo Quang Hue - former General Director of BOSCH Vietnam raised the question: "Is digital transformation just about applying technology, or is it essentially a comprehensive restructuring of the business model?"
According to Mr. Hue, digital transformation is essentially "a comprehensive restructuring of the business model, which cannot be successful if only investing in software or machinery". In particular, digital culture and digital human resources are the biggest challenges, because if people are not ready to innovate, any advanced technology will find it difficult to be effective.
When discussing ESG, international ESG expert Aru David also affirmed that ESG is "a ticket to the global supply chain". He proposed the KPDT (Understanding - Planning - Acting - Reporting) roadmap for Vietnamese businesses to effectively start the ESG journey.
At the discussion session on the global supply chain, Mr. Kim Le Huy - General Director of DKSH Vietnam commented that Vietnam is emerging as the "new convergence center of ASEAN", when FDI capital in 2024 reaches 38.2 billion USD. However, more than 70% of current export turnover still depends on the FDI sector.
According to Mr. Huy, to escape the “processing trap”, Vietnamese enterprises need to diversify markets and supply sources, while improving operational capacity and reducing logistics costs, which still account for a high proportion of GDP. Enterprises must not only stop at processing but also participate in higher value stages.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tieng - Head of the 2030 Entrepreneurs Club, Head of the Organizing Committee received congratulatory flowers from Mr. Pham Huu Chuong - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Saigon Economic Magazine - representative of the managing unit of the 2030 Entrepreneurs Club
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Tieng - President of the 2030 Entrepreneurs Club, Head of the Organizing Committee shared: "Go Global 2025 - Opening the Millennium Opportunity is not only a knowledge forum but also a place to create valuable connections and inspire Vietnamese entrepreneurs to reach out globally."
Representative of Rovi Travel, Mr. Nguyen Truong Phuc Thinh - Diamond sponsor, also expressed his pride in accompanying Go Global 2025: "The event brought useful messages with the sharing of powerful speakers on practical topics that meet the different expectations of each business."
Go Global 2025 has come to an end but has opened up many valuable connections for the Vietnamese business community. At the same time, the event also affirmed the pioneering role of the 2030 Entrepreneurs Club in the journey of connecting, elevating entrepreneurs and creating sustainable values.
