Speaking at the donation ceremony, Secretary of Lam Ha District Party Committee (Lam Dong Province) Nguyen Van Son said: Lam Ha District is a new economic zone of Lam Dong Province with more than 1,500 people, of which over 70% are native Hanoians. When hearing the news that storm No. 3 affected the northern provinces, including the capital Hanoi, responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong Province, officials and people of Lam Ha District donated to share with the people of the provinces, including the capital.
The people of Lam Ha district have trusted and entrusted the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to send a delegation of officials to present the donated money to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, with the desire to share with their homeland. At the same time, they believe that with the spirit of solidarity, unanimity and timely leadership and direction of the Party Committees and authorities at all levels, the people of the city will soon overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives to continue to develop the capital.
Receiving the support, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, Nguyen Sy Truong, sincerely thanked the support of agencies, businesses, organizations, individuals, especially the officials and people of Lam Ha district. This is an encouragement and sharing to contribute more resources with the Party and State to support people severely affected by storm No. 3. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City is committed to fully transferring the support of agencies, organizations and individuals to the people affected by storms and floods.
As of 4:00 p.m. on September 20, the total amount transferred to the Hanoi City "Relief" Fund was more than 153 billion VND.
