The Department of Health requires medical examination and treatment facilities to review, promptly make plans, proactively contact suppliers, deploy orders, purchase, and reserve, ensuring sufficient medicine for emergency care, treatment, and response to medical situations affected by storms, floods, epidemics, etc.; not to let there be a shortage of medicine for medical examination and treatment for the people.

For pharmaceutical businesses, it is necessary to proactively plan for reserves, prepare quality drugs, ensure adequate supply of drugs according to orders, according to supply contracts signed with medical examination and treatment facilities and for the medical examination and treatment needs of the people, especially ensuring drugs for the prevention of epidemics and diseases that may arise during the rainy and stormy season, and avoid drug shortages and fluctuations in drug prices.

In case of difficulties or problems with supply sources, units should proactively report to the Department of Drug Administration for guidance and resolution.

Pharmaceutical businesses must prepare a source of quality drugs at reasonable prices to prioritize adequate and timely supply for the needs of disease prevention and control, natural disasters and catastrophes.

Regarding disease prevention and control, Hanoi CDC continues to monitor active dengue fever outbreak areas and high-risk areas such as La Khe (Ha Dong), Dai Mo (Nam Tu Liem), Dong Phuong Yen (Chuong My), Phu Thuong (Tay Ho), and Hong Minh (Phu Xuyen).

Medical centers of districts, towns and cities organize epidemiological investigations, promptly and thoroughly handle recorded cases and outbreaks, and prevent the disease from spreading widely in the community.

Strengthen close monitoring and early detection of patients with infectious diseases in the community and decentralized medical examination and treatment facilities to grasp the epidemic situation, promptly investigate and handle cases and outbreaks.

Coordinate with theeducation and training sector to monitor and detect sick children, carry out epidemic treatment activities, environmental sanitation, and disinfection at schools when there are patients or outbreaks.

Strengthen communication work, provide timely and complete information on the epidemic situation, measures to prevent and control some diseases such as dengue fever, measles, hand, foot and mouth disease, whooping cough, Japanese encephalitis, etc. For diseases with vaccines, recommend that people proactively get vaccinated fully and on schedule according to the instructions of the health sector.
