The Hanoi City People's Council is currently seeking opinions to issue a Resolution stipulating certain contents and levels of financial support for the criminal police force and the fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue police force under the Hanoi City Police Department.
Accordingly, the beneficiaries are officers and non-commissioned officers of the Criminal Investigation Police and Fire Prevention and Rescue Police forces within the staffing quota of the Hanoi City Police. The funding comes from the city-level budget.

Specifically, the City provides monthly support of 3,600,000 VND/person/month to officers and non-commissioned officers of the City Police's Criminal Investigation Force; 2,700,000 VND/person/month to officers of the district-level Criminal Investigation Force; and 1,800,000 VND/person/month to officers of the commune-level Criminal Investigation Force and police stations.
The city provides a monthly allowance of 3,600,000 VND per person per month to officers and non-commissioned officers of the city's fire prevention and rescue police force.
The draft also stipulates that if officers and non-commissioned officers falling under the scope of this Resolution also fall under the scope of Resolution No. 13/2023 dated December 6, 2023, of the Hanoi City People's Council on regulating certain contents and expenditure levels under the authority of the Hanoi City People's Council, or Resolution No. 13/2024 dated July 1, 2024, of the Hanoi City People's Council on regulating the content and expenditure levels for supporting the regional police force and commune police force in Hanoi City, then only the highest support level will be guided.
The period for submitting comments on the draft resolution is from November 6, 2024 to December 6, 2024.
