
On October 27, the Hanoi Department of Tourism announced the results of tourism activities from the beginning of the year to the end of October 2025 and tourism development activities in the last two months of the year.
From now until the end of 2025, Hanoi city will launch a series of new tourism events and products.
Notably, the Department of Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Soc Son commune and related units to implement the Plan to build night experience tourism products at the special national relic site of Soc temple, Soc Son commune, Hanoi city, phase 1 (2025).
The main contents implemented include surveying and reporting on proposed ideas for consulting on tourism product development; building a management model; and guiding the operation of night experience tours at the Soc Temple National Special Monument tourist site.
Regarding tourism product development, the city will develop a community tourism model associated with the practical experience of traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities in Yen Xuan commune (phase I in 2025); develop agricultural and rural tourism products in Bat Trang and Ung Thien communes.
In addition, the city continues to organize two important annual tourism events, the Hanoi Autumn Festival and the Ao Dai Festival in 2025, to stimulate demand and attract tourists.
After an "explosive" September, entering October, Hanoi city continues to maintain a stable tourism growth rate.
In October, the total number of tourists to Hanoi reached 2.27 million, up 8.9% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international tourists are estimated at 695 thousand, up 17.8% over the same period last year. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at 9.93 trillion VND, up 11.9% over the same period in 2024.
From the beginning of the year to the end of October, the number of tourists to Hanoi is estimated at 28.22 million, an increase of 21.9% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international tourists are estimated at 6.17 million, an increase of 23.6% over the same period in 2024 (including 4.35 million international tourists staying).
Total revenue from tourists is estimated at VND108.22 trillion, up 19.8% over the same period in 2024.
The end of the year is the time when Hanoi has beautiful weather, so it is considered the "Golden Season of Tourism". In addition to activities organized by the tourism industry, there are many other events in the city, expected to attract a large number of domestic and foreign tourists such as: Autumn Fair (National Exhibition Center), Thang Long-Hanoi Festival.
