Hanoi requests to reduce pressure in organizing the 2025 exam

Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh has just signed and issued Directive No. 14/CT - UBND on strengthening the direction, coordination, and organization of high school graduation exams and university and vocational education admissions in 2025 in Hanoi.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested agencies and units, based on their assigned functions and tasks, to proactively and actively prepare necessary conditions to ensure good organization of exams and enrollment in 2025.

Exams and admissions in 2025 will continue to be organized in a way that reduces pressure, costs, and is less costly for candidates, families, and society.

Specifically, the city's departments, branches, sectors, and People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities must lead and direct the organization of the exam in a drastic and comprehensive manner, reducing pressure, costs, and expenses for candidates, their families, and society. At the same time, prepare carefully and thoroughly the conditions; information and communication work must be proactive, timely, and complete; absolutely not be negligent or subjective; flexibly and effectively handle arising issues, and create the most favorable conditions for candidates.

The Department of Education and Training directs, guides, and inspects the innovation of methods, the organization of teaching and learning activities, review, and assessment for students; ensures all necessary elements for the exam, so that students, teachers, and general education institutions are not passive or have difficulties when participating in and organizing the exam. The Department of Education and Training directs and organizes exam registration, manages exam registration files in accordance with regulations; focuses on professional training for those participating in organizing the exam.

The Department of Education and Training advises the City High School Graduation Exam Steering Committee to direct the organization and implementation of the exam and take full responsibility for the exam in the area; provide accurate, timely, and complete regulations and necessary information about the exam; strengthen information and communication work before, during, and after the exam, creating social consensus and support from the people.

In addition, it is necessary to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns to fully prepare all conditions, especially response plans for unusual situations to organize the exam to meet the set goals and requirements; ensure security, order and safety at exam venues in the city.
