Since 2022, the development of organic agriculture has been focused on by the authorities and people of many localities in Ha Tinh. Up to now, Ha Tinh has had more than 385 hectares of organic crops.

Of which, more than
93.5 hectares have been certified organic and nearly 292 hectares are being implemented in an organic direction . Focusing on building organic models contributes to creating safe agricultural products and benefits for the environment, especially in preventing soil degradation.

According to experts, organic farming and livestock raising can increase costs by 25 to 30%, but in return, output value can increase by up to 60%. On that basis, localities are focusing on expanding organic production models towards diversifying crop products.

By the end of 2025, the whole province strives to have 500 to 700 hectares of crops produced in an organic direction and achieving organic certification, contributing to increasing the value of crops, towards clean, safe and sustainable agriculture.
