Ha Tinh approves planning project for 2 new urban areas covering nearly 4,000 hectares

Ky Nam and Ky Ninh urban areas have a total area of ​​3,900 hectares and will be built into civilized and modern urban residential areas, in line with the general planning orientation of Ky Anh town.

The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province has just issued Decision No. 2612 on approving the Urban Sub-Zone Planning Project of Ky Nam, Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province at a scale of 1/2,000 and Decision No. 2613 on approving the Urban Sub-Zone Planning Project of Ky Ninh, Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province at a scale of 1/2,000. The total approved planning area of ​​Ky Nam and Ky Ninh urban areas is more than 3,900 hectares.

The planning objective of the two urban areas of Ky Ninh and Ky Nam is to serve urban development and embellishment, rational exploitation of land funds; to serve as a legal basis for investment preparation and detailed construction planning, and construction management according to the planning.

In terms of nature, this is a civilized, modern urban residential area with a synchronous technical and social infrastructure system, in line with the general planning orientation of Ky Anh town. The total population within the planning area by 2035 of Ky Nam is about 7,700 people and of Ky Ninh is 14,600 people.

Accordingly, the urban zoning plan of Ky Nam has specific boundaries: Northeast borders the East Sea, South borders Quang Binh province, West borders Quang Binh province, Northwest borders Ky Phuong ward.

The urban planning of Ky Nam has a total area of ​​1,791.53 hectares, including the following types of land: Land for existing housing groups, land for new housing groups, medical land, cultural land, educational land, land for agencies, headquarters, land for mixed urban centers in the current state of renovation, land for mixed urban centers in new development, land for sports and physical training, land for service areas, land for tourism services, etc.

Ky Ninh urban planning area with specific boundaries: Northwest borders Ky Khang commune (Ky Anh district), Northeast borders the East Sea, Southwest borders Ky Tho commune, Ky Hai commune (Ky Anh district) and Ky Ha commune and Southeast borders Ky Loi commune.

The urban planning area of ​​Ky Ninh has a total area of ​​2,177.96 hectares, including the following types of land: Land for existing housing groups; land for community tourism based on the current status of renovation (residential land combined with community tourism); land for new housing groups; medical land; cultural land; educational land; land for public green space; specialized green space; land for agencies, headquarters, etc.

The planning of the technical infrastructure system of Ky Ninh and Ky Nam complies with the General Planning Project of Ky Anh town until 2035 approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 706/QD-TTg dated June 7, 2018 and locally adjusted in Decision No. 106/QD-TTg dated January 26, 2024 .

According to the Ha Tinh Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, Ky Anh town is expected to become a city under the province by 2025. By 2030, Ha Tinh province will have two type II urban areas (Ha Tinh city and Ky Anh city), two type III urban areas (Hong Linh town and Duc Tho town) along with 12 type IV urban areas and 18 type V urban areas. Of these, 18 urban areas will be newly planned.
