Night traffic restrictions for repairs on National Highway 14H through Nong Son

The project to repair and renovate the culvert at km61+560 and improve the traffic safety system on National Highway 14H is currently being directed by the Department of Transport to have contractors work overtime at night to speed up progress, striving to complete the project and put it into use before the New Year 2025. Because the project is being constructed and exploited at the same time and the route must be adjusted to remove dangerous curves, the construction process has affected the traffic and travel of the people.

To overcome this limitation, the Department of Transport recommends that the People's Committee of Nong Son district support and direct the People's Committees of communes and towns to notify people to plan their work arrangements and limit traffic participation through the section from km61+300 to km62+000 from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. the following day, starting from December 4 to December 25, 2024. Vehicles participating in traffic through this section during construction must comply with the instructions of the traffic controller and traffic signs.

The Department of Transport requires the Tan Tien - Toan Tien joint venture to install signs and arrange traffic controllers and guides regularly and continuously at both ends of the construction section to ensure traffic safety. Add signs, barriers, reflective tape, lighting, and signal lights to enhance warnings.

The Department of Transport also requested Quang Nam Traffic Consulting Joint Stock Company (supervisory consultant) to regularly inspect and supervise contractors to implement construction works in accordance with approved design documents and construction measures, ensuring approved traffic safety.
