Thousands of people flocked to the venue "Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City"

The " Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City" program, organized by the Hanoi City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, will take place over three days (August 23-25) to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
According to the plan, at 8 PM tonight, August 25th, the "Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City" program will officially close after 3 days of activities, serving the people and tourists who came to visit and enjoy.
According to observations by reporters from the Economic & Urban Newspaper, Ho Chi Minh City experienced light rain on the evening of August 25th, but a large number of locals and tourists still flocked to Nguyen Hue pedestrian street to have fun and take photos, capturing memorable moments of a recreated Hanoi right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
The afternoon rain on August 25th couldn't deter people from Ho Chi Minh City from enjoying Hanoi cuisine on the final day of "Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City". People line up to enjoy West Lake shrimp cakes and stuffed dumplings. Hanoi-style bun cha is a specialty dish that is especially loved by many people in Ho Chi Minh City. Thanh Tri rice roll shop sold over 200 kg of rice rolls in the 3 days of the event. Despite being a humble dish, Thanh Tri rice rolls still delight the people of Ho Chi Minh City and tourists alike. Not only adults, but children are also excited to visit and have fun at "Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City". During the three days of the event, this Hanoi draft beer pub sold more than 7,000 liters of beer. Not to be outdone, Van Dinh duck sausage also sold out over 300 kg in the past 3 days. The sales volume is expected to increase sharply tonight. The owner of the Lang Vong sticky rice stall excitedly said that she had sold over 100kg of sticky rice and sales were still increasing. Many people choose to buy Hanoi sticky rice cakes not only to enjoy themselves but also as gifts for relatives, friends, and business partners. Hundreds of people lined up patiently to buy Vong Village sticky rice flakes. Braving the rain to take commemorative photos at Long Bien Bridge, a bridge that has witnessed countless heroic and tragic historical events of Hanoi. The perspective view of Long Bien Bridge is particularly popular with locals and tourists because it looks so lifelike. The miniature landscape of Hanoi Moi Newspaper is a favorite photo spot for many people.
