In the early hours of October 23rd, Bayern Munich easily thrashed Club Brugge 4-0 at their home stadium, Allianz Arena, in the third round of the Champions League. Notably, Harry Kane continued his scoring streak and set a new record, surpassing both legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The historic moment occurred in the 14th minute of the match, when Harry Kane easily tapped the ball into the net against Club Brugge to extend Bayern's lead to 2-0. With this, starting from the 2025-2026 season, the number 9 striker officially became the fastest player in football history to reach 20 goals in 12 matches.
This impressive achievement broke the previous record held by superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo needed 13 matches to reach 20 goals in the 2014-2015 season. Meanwhile, Lionel Messi ranked third in this impressive statistic, with 17 matches.
Not only has Kane had an impressive season, but his goalscoring record in the Champions League since joining Bayern Munich has been incredible. The English striker currently has 24 goals in 28 matches.

In the upcoming fourth match (November 4th), when Bayern visits PSG, Kane has the opportunity to equal the record for the fastest player to reach 25 Champions League goals for the "Bavarian giants". This record is currently held by Robert Lewandowski (29 matches).
Since joining Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, Kane's goalscoring performance has surpassed even his time at Tottenham. In just over two years, he has scored 105 goals in 108 games for the "Bavarian giants," demonstrating his adaptability and undeniable goal-scoring prowess.
