Defender scored two own goals, Feyenoord lost bitterly to Atletico Madrid

Playing at home, Feyenoord entered the game strongly and created great pressure on Atletico Madrid in the 5th match of Group E of the Champions League on the evening of November 28.

From Atletico Madrid's free kick on the left wing, Santi Gimenez rushed out and headed the ball like a striker, causing goalkeeper Bijlow to fly as far as he could but still could not block it.

Atletico Madrid won 3-1 on aggregate against Feyenoord to secure a ticket to the Champions League round of 16 as group leaders despite still having one match left to play.

The remaining ticket also belonged to Lazio Roma when the Italian team defeated Celtic 2-0 in the same match (4 points ahead of third-placed Feyenoord and only one round left).
