Phu Ninh District People's Council promotes the role of elected bodies

Up to now, the District People's Council has successfully organized 18 meetings and passed 157 resolutions. The Standing Committee of the District People's Council and the District People's Council Committees have organized 141 supervision and survey meetings in the departments, units of the district and localities in all fields.

After the supervisions, there were written conclusions and specific recommendations on issues related to the supervision content. At the same time, in the regular monthly meetings, the Standing Committee of the District People's Council also summarized major issues to recommend solutions to the District People's Committee in the management and operation of specialized agencies and localities.

According to Mr. Phan Thanh Tham - Vice Chairman of Phu Ninh District People's Council, after the supervision and survey sessions at the grassroots level, the Standing Committee of the District People's Council organized a working session with the leaders of the People's Committee and heads of specialized departments and offices to listen to explanations of long-standing limitations and urgent arising issues, and discuss solutions.
