Entering the development phase 2025 - 2030, Dak Lak is facing new opportunities, new chances to break through. Rural modernization is also not outside this orientation.
"The Digital Literacy Movement has special significance in the process of rural modernization. This is not only about popularizing basic technological knowledge for people, but also the key for people to gradually participate in the digital economy. When people have a firm grasp of digital skills, they will become the real subjects of the rural modernization process" - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee . |
According to Chairman of Phu Hoa 1 Commune People's Committee Nguyen Truong Thi, rural modernization is not only about bringing technology, but also about helping people understand, trust and use it. Therefore, the commune has coordinated to organize digital skills training, guide online administrative procedures; support farmers in accessing preferential loans, training in clean production techniques and applying information technology. The goal is that every household benefits from rural modernization programs.
One of the clear evidences of accompanying the people in the modernization of agriculture and rural areas is that the province is concretizing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation through the Dak Lak Digital program, launching 100 peak days of implementing the Digital Education Movement in the province (from July 15 to October 25).
Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology Bui Thanh Toan said: “To modernize the countryside, we must first “eliminate technological illiteracy” for the people. The Digital Literacy Movement deployed in the communes will help farmers, especially the elderly, get acquainted with smartphones, know how to use the Internet, social networks and e-commerce applications. This is the key to not being left behind in the digital age. When people grasp basic digital skills, they can promote their own products, connect to the market and transact directly with customers. This not only helps increase income, but also contributes to forming a generation of digital farmers and digital rural areas, an important foundation for building a modern and sustainable new rural area.”
