Coach Nguyen Anh Duc's second foreign striker signing is Ugochukwu Oduenyi. He is a player of Quang Nam Club in the 2024-2025 season and has contributed 3 goals to the team.
After Quang Nam FC did not participate in the 2025-2026 V-League, Oduenyi went to Binh Duong for a trial. At least he has the advantage of being familiar with the playing style in Vietnam after 13 matches.
This will be a safe solution for Becamex TP.HCM to keep an old striker, while also bringing in a completely new rookie like Ismaila. Both will have the opportunity to combine at Binh Duong Stadium.
