Hanoi FC extended their winless streak in the V-League 2024-2025 to three matches. At Hang Day Stadium on February 15th, coach Alexandre Polking's team drew 4-4 with Quang Nam FC. Despite taking the lead three times, Hanoi FC fell behind 4-3, and had to rely on a crucial injury-time goal from Alan Grafite to salvage a point.

"We made mistakes, lost possession unnecessarily, scored four goals but couldn't win. After the match, we will improve to look ahead. Any team can drop points. I still have 100% confidence in my players. We need to acknowledge that in this match, CAHN Club made mistakes, allowing them to easily play the ball. We will change and come back stronger," Coach Polking commented on the match.

Goalkeeper Nguyen Filip made a mistake in this match, letting the ball slip out of his net during a situation in the second half, giving Quang Nam FC the opportunity to equalize the score at 3-3. However, coach Polking did not blame his player.

"Nguyen Filip is still a great goalkeeper. Everyone can make mistakes. What's important is mindset and concentration, along with a strong fighting spirit. I won't judge a player based on just a few mistakes," Coach Polking affirmed.

The former Thailand national team coach further emphasized: "Looking at the positive aspects of the match, I see Alan Grafite returning and scoring. This is a disappointing result, however, we will go back and analyze the situations. There is a long road ahead and opportunities still remain for CAHN Club."

After 12 matches, CAHN Club is ranked 7th with 17 points, 7 points behind the leading team Nam Dinh .

What did coach Van Sy Son say?

"I am pleased with Quang Nam FC's performance away from home, as we faced CAHN FC, a team competing for the V-League and Southeast Asian championships. We won in 97 minutes, but honestly, I didn't expect the match to end like that," said Quang Nam FC coach Van Sy Son.

The visiting team's coach lost his composure when his players conceded an equalizer to CAHN FC in the 90+7th minute, making the score 4-4. Coach Van Sy Son claimed that before Thanh Long delivered the cross from the left wing for Grafite to score, a Quang Nam player had been fouled by the home team, CAHN FC.

However, VAR reviewed the situation and determined that there was no illegal contact. Therefore, referee Nguyen Manh Hai awarded the equalizer to CAHN Club.

Quang Nam FC (in yellow jerseys) dropped two points in the 90+7th minute.

"VAR provides the most accurate assessments of goals, yellow cards, and fouls. However, I am dissatisfied and frustrated with the refereeing. The competition is getting fiercer, and we will try our best to keep up. Quang Nam FC played an attacking game against CAHN FC, not a negative one," concluded the Quang Nam coach.
