Coach Luciano Spalletti was the one who received the most criticism. After the match, the 65-year-old strategist shared his thoughts about his team's defeat.

“Unfortunately, speed and youth always make the difference. Before the match, I gave the players a rest to recover. The team could not do more. We needed to be faster, more aggressive, more dedicated,” Mr. Spalletti commented on the match.

The Italian strategist took responsibility for his team's defeat. But he also pointed out many objective problems of the "Azzurri".
