According to the ranking released by the London-based immigration consultancy Henley & Partners on June 28, Singapore is currently the country with the most powerful passport in the world in 2024, allowing its holders to travel to 195 countries without a visa.
Singapore is a magnet for the wealthy due to geopolitical tensions around the world. However, getting a Singapore passport is not easy.
The country of 5.6 million people granted citizenship to about 23,100 foreigners in 2022. However, in early 2023, Singapore abolished its policy of granting citizenship based on individuals' net worth.

In third place are Sweden, South Korea, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland, Finland, Austria (visa-free in 193 countries).
4th place is UK, Denmark, Belgium (visa-free in 192 countries).
5th is Norway, Portugal or Switzerland (visa-free access to 191 countries).
