Tri An Lake - an attractive destination for nature lovers

Tri An Lake is a large artificial reservoir in Southern Vietnam, located on the Dong Nai River, in Vinh Cuu District, Dong Nai Province. Built to serve the Tri An Hydroelectric Plant and provide water for agricultural production and daily life in the region, the lake has now become an attractive tourist destination, especially for those who love camping and relaxing in a pure natural space.

With a water surface area of about 323 km² and a capacity of nearly 2.8 billion m³, Tri An Lake is a large "green lung", attracting tourists from everywhere, especially young people in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces, to come here to "change the wind" and enjoy a peaceful weekend by the clear blue water.

According to Decision No. 509/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister approving the Tourism System Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045, Tri An Lake is included in the list of locations with potential for national tourism development. This opens up opportunities for infrastructure investment, attracting resources, contributing to elevating this area to become a key destination on Vietnam's ecotourism map.
