Support members of the Provincial Blind Association to overcome the consequences of storms and floods

BAC NINH - On November 5 and 6, the Association of the Blind of Bac Ninh province coordinated with the Association of the Blind of Quang Ninh province to organize a gift giving event to support members affected by storms and floods and those in difficult circumstances in the province.

Bac Ninh is one of the localities that suffered heavy damage from storm No. 11. Rising floodwaters caused many areas to be deeply submerged, isolated, affecting the lives and production of people; including members of the Blind Association - people who already had difficulties in their daily lives.

The delegation visited and gave gifts to Mr. Nguyen Van Hai's family in Cong Phen village, My Thai commune.

Grasping the situation, the Blind Association of Bac Ninh and Quang Ninh provinces organized a working group to visit, encourage and give 31 gifts to the families of members in difficult circumstances, affected by storms and floods. Each gift includes 500,000 VND and necessities and clothes; contributing to helping members overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

The funding and gifts were connected by the Quang Ninh Association for the Blind, mobilizing domestic and foreign benefactors to support, along with a deduction from the Quang Ninh Association for the Blind's Care Fund.

The gifts contain affection and sharing, spreading the spirit of "helping each other", giving the blind people more strength to overcome difficulties and rise up in life.
