The first Miss Tay Do 2023 contest is copyrighted by Can Tho Radio and Television Station and will be held every two years. This year's contest is part of a series of events celebrating the 20th anniversary of Can Tho City being under the Central Government (January 1, 2004 - January 1, 2024) to honor the beauty of truth, goodness and beauty of Vietnamese women; at the same time, searching for outstanding individuals to become representatives of Can Tho City to carry out a meaningful mission, contributing to the development of Can Tho culture and tourism .

The 2023 Miss Tay Do contest is an opportunity for unmarried Vietnamese women aged 18 to 25, residing, studying and working in Can Tho City, the Mekong Delta provinces and Ho Chi Minh City to shine and assert themselves. Candidates can refer to the contest conditions at (https://canthotv.vn/nguoideptaydo) and submit their applications by November 27.
Candidates with valid profiles will participate in the preliminary round at the headquarters of Can Tho City Radio and Television Station on November 28 to select the top 40 for the semi-finals.
The semi-final night (December 10) took place at the 5-star Sheraton Can Tho Hotel. Contestants performed in ao dai and ao ba ba to select the top 25 for the final round.
Top 25 entered the final round with many competitions and participated in social and charity activities from December 12 to 16.
Journalist Tang Quang Anh, Director of Can Tho City Radio and Television Station, Head of the Organizing Committee of the 2023 Tay Do Beauty Contest, said that the top 25 will compete in the final night (December 23) with the Ao Dai, Ao Ba Ba, and evening gown competitions to select the top 5 to participate in the behavioral competition to win the highest position.
The 2023 Miss Tay Do beauty pageant will receive a prize worth 200 million VND. The first and second runners-up will receive prizes worth 100 million VND and 60 million VND. The contest's jury also selected outstanding contestants to award the titles of Miss Ao Ba Ba, Miss Tourism, Miss Charity, Miss Talent, and Most Popular Beauty; Each prize title is worth 30 million VND.
In particular, Miss Tay Do Beauty 2023 was given special privileges to go straight to the final round of Miss Vietnam 2024. The first and second runners-up were given special privileges to go straight to the national final round of Miss Grand Vietnam 2024 - Miss Grand Vietnam 2024.
