Toyota Concert 2024 comes to Hanoi audience

Continuing the success of previous years, the Toyota Concert 2024 will take place on August 3, 2024 in Hanoi .

This year, the Toyota Concert will welcome the talented conductor Honna Tetsuji and talented piano soloist Vo Minh Quang with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra (VNSO).

The audience will be immersed in a classical music space with many emotions and classic works by three great composers Bedrich Smetana (Vltava), Edvard Grieg (Piano Concerto A minor, Op.16) and Antonín Dvořák (Symphony No. 8 G major).

The Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra has gradually achieved very encouraging achievements. Especially in the past 10 years, VNSO has improved the quality of its performing arts, not only being welcomed and highly appreciated by audiences, the press, music critics and colleagues in Vietnam, but also being recognized in many countries in the region and the world through domestic and international tours.

Conductor Honna Tetsuji has been the Music Director and Principal Conductor of VNSO since 2009. In addition, Honna Tetsuji has conducted numerous world- famous international orchestras. He has also worked with many world-leading artists such as: Martha Argerich, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Cyprian Cacaris, Peter Resel, Dang Thai Son, Philippe Entremont, Cecil Licad, Reiner Honek, Christian Tezlaff, Igor Oistrach...

Piano soloist Vo Minh Quang is currently a piano performance major at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Minh Quang has been evaluated by many judges and famous pianists as a pianist with excellent technique, good stage presence, intelligent, natural, delicate and emotional musical thinking. With a series of achievements, Vo Minh Quang was honored as a typical young face in the field of culture and art of Vietnam.

Toyota Concert is an annual art program organized by Toyota Vietnam in collaboration with VNSO for classical music lovers. The concert will be held at Ho Guom Theater, Hanoi at 8:00 p.m. on August 3, 2024. All ticket sales will be used by Toyota Vietnam for social contribution activities in 2024.
