According to Engineer Nguyen Duc Tung, Site Commander - Thang Long Project Management Board, all items of the interchanges have now been completed, and it is expected that the Thieu Giang and Dong Thang interchanges on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 expressway will be put into operation on April 19, 2024, creating favorable conditions for people to travel during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
Dong Thang Interchange (Trieu Son) started construction on July 21, 2023, basically completed, ready to be put into use.
From the Dong Thang intersection, people can travel about 10km to the center of Thanh Hoa City; or about 26km to Sam Son Beach Tourist Area or Tho Xuan Airport...
The Thieu Giang (Thieu Hoa) intersection is part of Sub-project 2 - the project connecting National Highway 1 with National Highway 45. This sub-project includes the section from the beginning of the Ma River overpass to the intersection with National Highway 45, Km 7+250 - Km 14+603.
To date, the Thiệu Giang intersection project has been largely completed. According to the plan, the intersection will be put into use by April 19, 2024, creating favorable conditions for people to travel during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.
The iron fence and power grid systems at the intersection have been fully installed.
The signage, median strips, and lane markings at the intersections have been completed.
Workers are urgently planting grass to prevent landslides on the embankments at intersections.
The Dong Xuan (Dong Son) interchange has been completed and put into use, creating favorable conditions for people's travel.
Along the Mai Son - National Highway 45 expressway project section passing through Thanh Hoa province, there are the Gia Mieu interchange (Km 295+800), Ha Linh interchange (Km 306+000), Thieu Giang interchange (Km 315+380), Dong Xuan interchange (Km 327+142), and Dong Thang interchange (Km 335+400).
