First Day of Autumn Fair: A series of special events attracts a record number of visitors

On the morning of October 26, the 2025 Autumn Fair recorded a record number of visitors on the first day of opening to welcome visitors to the capital and the whole country.

The first Autumn Fair - 2025 opened on the evening of October 25 and officially opened to welcome visitors to the capital and the whole country from October 26 to November 4 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ).

On the first morning of the Fair, a large number of visitors and shoppers flocked to the Vietnam Exhibition Center, creating a bustling atmosphere on the first day of opening to welcome visitors.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy (Me Linh commune, Hanoi city) shared: “Today is the weekend, I heard a lot about the Autumn Fair on the radio so I brought my child to visit and shop. I prioritize choosing green, clean, safe products for my family.”

Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Huy (Hoai Duc commune, Hanoi city) said he visited most of the booths and appreciated the scale of the organization. “The fair is invested in a modern and orderly manner. The government creates conditions for people to access quality products, and at the same time visit production models of localities across the country. Yesterday, the Prime Minister said that there are four seasons: Spring-Summer-Autumn-Winter, so there should also be four fairs to serve the people and stimulate domestic consumption. I find it very meaningful,” Mr. Huy shared.

On the business side, Mr. Le Ngoc Anh, Director of Le Gia Food and Trade Services Limited Liability Company ( Thanh Hoa ), said: “Participating in this Fair, we bring fish sauce products that meet the national 5-star OCOP standard, traditional specialties from seafood. This is an opportunity to promote products, share stories about the profession, and connect with domestic and foreign tourists.”

He also expressed his hope that through trade promotion sessions hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Organizing Committee, businesses will have more opportunities to expand exports to many international markets.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Director of SH Trading Limited Liability Company, commented: “The number of visitors this year is very large, the communication and organization work is professional. We hope that Hue Ao Dai products and domestic handicrafts will be known to more people.”

Representative of the cooperative block, Mr. Le Thinh, Director of Thuy Thuat Tea Cooperative (Thai Nguyen), highly appreciated the scale and significance of the program: "The Autumn Fair is an opportunity to promote products, expand consumption connections, and at the same time learn from brand development experiences from cooperatives across the country."

According to records, people come to the Autumn Fair not only to experience shopping for high-quality Vietnamese goods but also to enjoy the rich, creative and unique cuisine, culture and art of 34 provinces and cities.

With the theme and message "Connecting people with production and business", the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is an economic-cultural event not only on a national scale, but also reaching international level, honoring typical products and brands with Vietnamese identity and intelligence, contributing significantly to stimulating domestic consumption, spreading the spirit of "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", promoting trade, investment and international integration.

The fair was organized on the largest scale ever, considered a "super fair" with 5 themed zones and about 3,000 booths.

The fair is also an important bridge for Vietnamese enterprises to strengthen international economic integration, exchange experiences and receive technology transfer, especially in digital transformation, green economy and circular economy.

The Organizing Committee said this event has an unprecedented scale with about 3,000 booths, an exhibition area of over 130,000 square meters, and is expected to welcome up to 500,000 visitors per day./.
