Over 2,000 people applied for the "dangerous job" position.
On October 22nd, the Luanxuan Bamboo Forest Wildlife Park, located in Luanxuan County, Luoyang City ( Henan Province, China), caused a stir with its unusual recruitment announcement.
Zoo is hiring people brave enough to feed tigers, with a salary of 185 million VND per month ( Video : Sina).
Specifically, the zoo is looking to hire drivers for specialized vehicles to operate in the tiger mountain and bear cave areas, offering a salary of 50,000 yuan (approximately 185 million VND) per month. This exceptionally high salary and unique job have attracted significant public attention in the country, as not everyone possesses the physical fitness and courage to apply.
Along with that, many people expressed skepticism about the authenticity of the recruitment information, wondering whether it was accurate or just a marketing ploy.
On October 23rd, representatives from the zoo confirmed that the job posting was completely genuine. Since the posting, they have received over 2,000 applications.
This job is for people with nerves of steel.
According to the video posted by the zoo, the main job of the applicant is to drive a specialized vehicle into the free-range area for predatory animals such as Siberian tigers, African lions, black bears, wolves, etc.
Additionally, staff should guide tourists on what it feels like to experience firsthand the roar of the king of the jungle.

The job requires drivers to drive close to the wild animals roaming freely in the reserve. Drivers are trained to open the car doors so tourists can use specialized tools such as meat-fishing rods to throw food to the predators.
If there are many customers, the driver may have to catch 100 to 200 ducks each day to feed the tigers and lions.
Despite the attractive salary, zoo representatives emphasized that applicants must meet many strict criteria. Specifically, successful candidates need a valid driver's license with at least 5 years of driving experience. Drivers must be proficient in operating specialized vehicles, possess a strong will and extremely quick reflexes, and be ready to respond to situations in hazardous environments.
After the initial application screening, the selected candidate will undergo a hands-on training program with wild animals. During this process, candidates will receive direct guidance from experienced drivers. Only after successfully completing the entire training program will the candidate officially begin work. Currently, the zoo is only hiring for one position.
The country's media described it as "the most dangerous job in China." Despite this, thousands of people rushed to apply. Although the deadline for applications was November 15th, within just a few days, the number of applications had already exceeded expectations.
The job is considered risky, but for many, the high salary and unique prestige remain very attractive.
Currently, job postings are rapidly climbing to the top of search trends on the social media platform Weibo, accompanied by hundreds of thousands of humorous comments. "Attractive salary, but you might have to use your internet to earn money," one user commented on Weibo.

The Luanxuan Bamboo Forest Wildlife Park is a national-level 4A tourist area in China, currently home to over 4,000 animal species. Covering an area of over 10.3 square kilometers, it comprises four main zones: a wild animal zone, a small animal play area, a bamboo forest resort, and a primeval forest resort.
Among the more than 4,000 animals, the zoo is home to two giant pandas, Linh Nham and Mai Mai, considered "national treasures," who were brought to live there in 2020.
