"Currently, we live in an environment flooded with both true and false information. Especially in countries without their own social media platforms, they have to share social media platforms. Social information and mainstream press are being leveled out. This includes information created by humans or by machines, algorithms, and artificial intelligence, and then uploaded to social media... This conference aims to transform information into knowledge, enhance the ability to respond to fake news, and transmit information to people in ASEAN countries... This is the highest level of coordination mechanism among countries in terms of information. The results of the conference will be recommended to the highest level of countries," said Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam.
