Summary conference "Promoting Regional Linkage in E-commerce Development - Enhancing Products of the Northern Midlands and Mountains" in 2025

This afternoon (May 25), in Lai Chau province, the Conference on "Promoting regional linkage in e-commerce development - Enhancing products in the Northern Midlands and Mountains" took place. The Conference summarized the achieved results, recognized more clearly the potential for regional linkage, found effective models and oriented strategic steps in the journey to make e-commerce a driving force for sustainable development in the Northern Midlands and Mountains.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huyen, Deputy Director of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy , reported on the achievements made during the two-day event.

Over the two days of the event, according to the Organizing Committee, a series of activities aimed at promoting regional linkages in e-commerce development took place actively, diversely, and effectively with the active participation of management agencies, businesses, cooperatives, business households, and local communities.

Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Lai Chau province, Vuong The Man, participated in a livestream session promoting agricultural products of Lai Chau province on social media platforms.

At the concluding conference, delegates watched a summary video and listened to a brief report on the achievements of the series of events and the orientation of the model to promote regional linkages in the Northern Midlands and mountainous region; practical perspectives and proposed solutions from partner organizations that have directly participated in the series of activities supporting digital transformation and promoting e-commerce in the Northern Midlands and mountainous region in the past period.

In the context of increasingly digitized consumer trends, livestreaming is becoming an effective, dynamic, and accessible form of sales. At the concluding conference, delegates also heard representatives from companies and businesses share various topics such as: solutions for selling through livestreaming in the Northern Midlands and mountainous regions; solutions to support businesses in building brands and providing after-sales customer care; and the effectiveness of applying e-commerce to the business operations of organizations and individuals from various localities…
