Online conference to review the Party's inspection, supervision and disciplinary work

In the first 6 months of the year, the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo , the Secretariat and Party committees at all levels regularly paid attention to leading, directing and implementing inspection and supervision work. In addition, the institution on inspection, supervision and Party discipline work continued to be improved, creating favorable conditions for the Central Inspection Commission and Inspection Committee members at all levels to effectively carry out tasks according to the Party Charter; promptly promulgate and organize the implementation of inspection and supervision programs and plans for 2024.

The content of inspection and supervision focuses on the leadership, direction and organization of the implementation of resolutions, directives, regulations, conclusions of the Party, and laws of the State; the prevention of corruption, negativity, and waste; areas prone to corruption and negativity; prominent and pressing issues in society that are of public concern, especially signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, and lifestyle of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation"... At the same time, the Inspection Committees at all levels have linked the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks with the supervision and inspection of asset declarations, incomes, and responsibilities of leaders. The work of handling denunciations, complaints, and disciplinary actions has been carried out promptly, basically ensuring strictness, following democratic and objective procedures and regulations. Through inspection and supervision, many violating party organizations and party members have been concluded objectively and accurately, and strict handling has been carried out; help the inspected and supervised subjects clearly recognize violations and shortcomings in order to correct and overcome them, contributing to strengthening the trust of cadres, party members and the people.

At the conference, delegates at the connecting points focused on discussing the following contents: Building inspection and supervision programs, identifying subjects and contents of inspection and supervision; thematic supervision work of Party committees, Party organizations and inspection committees at localities and units; monitoring, urging, inspecting and supervising the implementation of inspection and supervision conclusions...

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission, suggested that in the last 6 months of the year, the entire sector needs to advise on effective implementation, completion of programs, inspection and supervision in 2024. The entire sector needs to continue to comprehensively and effectively carry out tasks according to the Party Charter, focusing on inspection when there are signs of violations. At the same time, promptly detect, inspect and resolutely handle party organizations and party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics and lifestyle, and violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do; focus on implementing Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo on party congresses at all levels, especially in personnel appraisal. It is necessary to thoroughly resolve complaints and denunciations, especially those related to personnel for the next term. When violations are discovered, they must be strictly handled. At the same time, it is necessary to continue to do well the work of building the Party Inspection sector, building a team of cadres to meet current task requirements...
