Based on the 2024 work program, work needs and actual situation of the units; with the consent of the Head of the Central Youth Union Agency, the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union Trade Union issued a plan to organize activities to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2024) in combination with taking care of union members of the Central Youth Union Agency Trade Union in the southern region.
The focus of the activity is to organize care to continue to encourage and share directly with union members at units stationed in the southern region, while creating an exciting and joyful atmosphere for cadres and union members to overcome difficulties and strive to complete assigned tasks.

The activities took place warmly and enthusiastically under the direction, participation and attendance of Head of the Organizing Committee Le Hong Hanh - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Central Youth Union; journalist Nguyen Ngoc Toan - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Youth Union Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper; journalist Lam Hieu Dung - Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of the Central Youth Union Agency, Chairman of the Trade Union of Thanh Nien Newspaper, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Sports Festival; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of the Central Youth Union Agency, Head of the Women's Union.
The sports festival also had the participation of Ms. Hoang Thi Nhung - Deputy Director of the Southern Youth Center; Mr. Dang Vu Tung - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Youth Academy, Director of the Vietnam Youth Academy branch in Ho Chi Minh City; Ms. Ngo Hong Phuoc - Head of the Tien Phong Youth Newspaper Representative Office, Mr. Ly Thanh Tam - Head of the Tien Phong Newspaper Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City... and more than 100 union members of the units.

The sports festival took place in an exciting, warm and full of solidarity atmosphere.

At the sports festival, the Organizing Committee awarded gifts (including 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300,000 VND) to 7 union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
In addition, 3 children of union members and workers with difficult circumstances, good students, overcoming difficulties and achieving excellent results were also awarded savings books worth 10 million VND each.
In addition, the sports festival also featured competitions between more than 100 athletes in football (champion was HUTECH University), tug of war (champion was HUTECH University), relay race (champion was Vietnam Youth Academy Branch in Ho Chi Minh City), and sack race relay (champion was HUTECH University).
