At the workshop, Dr. Tran Hoang Hieu, Head of the Department of Science Management and International Cooperation, Regional Political Academy IV, said that in January 2022, the National Political Publishing House Truth published and introduced the book "Some theoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam" and by 2023, the Central Internal Affairs Committee in coordination with the National Political Publishing House Truth published the work "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The guiding viewpoints of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong mentioned in the above works are of special importance in both theory and practice, especially summarizing the theory of the renovation policy and the lessons learned, the issues of law from the practice of building and developing our country. At the same time, this is also a document to thoroughly grasp, propagate and raise awareness for cadres, party members and the general public about socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam, creating ideological unity in the whole society, "unanimously united from top to bottom, clear from top to bottom", promoting the strength of great national unity to realize the strategic goals set by the 13th National Party Congress.

MSc. Pham Quang Chien, Propaganda Department of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee presented a paper at the Workshop.

The workshop had 50 presentations by experts, scientists; leaders and managers in various fields across the country, especially in the Southwest and Southeast regions. The content of the presentations and opinions expressed at the workshop focused on clarifying the content, theoretical and practical values of the guiding viewpoints mentioned in the two works. Many presentations also pointed out the highlights in the work "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on the harmful effects of corruption and negativity; on the importance of the fight against corruption and negativity...

Some papers pointed out the role of political theory research agencies and training and fostering of cadres and civil servants in applying the guiding views of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; assessed the current status of applying the guiding views of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in teaching political theory; and proposed a number of solutions and recommendations to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of applying the guiding views of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in researching and teaching political theory.
