According to the distribution of scores for the 2025 high school graduation exam in History announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, 1,518 candidates nationwide achieved a perfect score of 10. There were 2 exam papers with a score of 0. The average score achieved by candidates in History was 6.52.

According to the plan, the Departments of Education and Training and high schools will complete the process of recognizing high school graduation no later than July 18th.

Departments of Education and Training will announce the results of the high school graduation exams no later than July 20th.

The relevant units will print and send the exam results certificates to candidates no later than July 22nd.

The process of receiving appeals and compiling the list of those appealing will take place from July 16th to July 25th. The organization of the exam review process (if any) will be completed no later than August 3rd.

In 2025, 1,165,289 candidates registered to take the high school graduation exam, an increase of 93,894 compared to 2024 (1,071,395 candidates). Of these, 97.71% (1,138,579 students) took the exam under the 2018 general education program; and 2.29% (26,711 students) took the exam under the 2006 general education program.

The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place over two days, June 26th and 27th, for both groups of students studying under the two different programs.
