On September 15, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said it had delivered more than 16,000 bags of medicine to people in the northern flood-hit areas affected by the recent storm No. 3.

Specifically, as of the evening of September 14, 16,134 bags of medicine had been transported by air and delivered to the Departments of Health of Lao Cai, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Cao Bang, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan , and Thai Binh provinces.

Hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City have prepared medicine bags with an urgent and enthusiastic atmosphere, with the desire to share a small part with people who are facing many difficulties caused by storms and floods.

And on September 15, more than 10,000 family medicine bags will continue to be transported by air to quickly send to people in provinces heavily affected by storm No. 3.

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health acknowledges and thanks the very effective and harmonious participation of the collective leadership and medical staff of affiliated hospitals.

Hospitals include: Hung Vuong, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Heart Institute, Binh Thanh, Dermatology Hospital, An Binh, Pham Ngoc Thach...

In addition to public hospitals, private hospitals and private pharmaceutical companies in the city also participate in the contribution.

In addition, there is also the support of private enterprises and especially the meaningful response of VietJet when prioritizing free transportation for the city's medical sector of 600 boxes weighing 6,710kg.

49 hospitals ready to provide human resources to the northern provinces

Faced with the impact of storm No. 3, the Ho Chi Minh City health sector launched the 'Family Medicine Bag' program to support 10 northern provinces and cities.

Participating in the program include public units and non-public hospitals and medical facilities. The health sector will support 30,000 medicine bags for 10 northern provinces and cities that are heavily affected by storm No. 3.

The medicine bag will contain essential medicines such as: fever reducer, stomach ache, diarrhea, allergy, skin antiseptic, personal bandages...

This is a list of essential medicines to help people isolated by floods take care of their health (both adults and children), with detailed instructions for use to ensure safety and effectiveness.
