More than 30 countries will attend the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair

ITE HCMC 2025 takes place from September 4-6 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. This is a meeting place for domestic and foreign tourism businesses, especially those from the lower Mekong countries, to seek business partners and provide diverse products to customers.

Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism Le Truong Hien Hoa said that ITE HCMC 2025 is expected to attract more than 520 exhibitors, 50 Vietnamese localities and 240 high-end buyers from more than 30 countries and territories; contributing to creating 12,600 business appointments (B2B Meetings), direct contact between international and Vietnamese tourism businesses.

Along with that, ITE HCMC 2025 is expected to have 16 main activities connecting trade, forums, conferences, and seminars with the participation of domestic and international media units.

During the ITE HCMC 2025 fair, Ho Chi Minh City will host the 12th General Assembly of the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO) in 2025 with the theme "Shaping the future of tourism: Towards digital transformation and green transformation" (from September 3-6).

Hosting the 12th TPO General Assembly has affirmed the position and responsibility of Ho Chi Minh City as a member of the TPO Executive Board and its leadership role in developing regional tourism, enhancing the city's international position. This is an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to expand business cooperation opportunities, promote tourism and the local economy through training, promotion and connection programs, contributing to stimulating demand for services serving business tourism combined with conferences.

In particular, for the first time, ITE HCMC 2025 takes place at the same time and location as the 3rd series of events "Connecting the international supply chain - Viet Nam International Sourcing" organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, including outstanding activities such as the 2025 Export Forum and the International Supply Chain Exhibition (Viet Nam International Sourcing Expo 2025).

The event brought together nearly 500 Vietnamese enterprises displaying tens of thousands of products representing many different fields in the international supply chain and had an unprecedented number of participants from more than 300 reputable distribution channels and importers from more than 60 countries and territories.

This is a great advantage for Vietnamese tourism businesses at ITE HCMC 2025 to approach global businessmen to take the lead in the potential MICE market, attract investment in the tourism sector and introduce high-end services for businessmen.

ITE HCMC is the only fair in Vietnam with an international buyer program, so the event is considered a "push" to attract international tourists to Vietnam through promotional and communication activities to key and potential inbound tourism markets of Vietnam tourism such as Northeast Asia (China, Korea, Japan, ...), Western Europe (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain), North America (USA, Canada), Southeast Asia (Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia), Australia (Australia, New Zealand), new and potential markets such as India, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait ...
