
This year's tournament brings together 9 sports delegations from provinces and cities across the country, including: Can Tho, Da Nang, Dong Nai, Dong Thap, Hanoi, Ha Tinh, Thai Nguyen, Thua Thien Hue and Ho Chi Minh City with a total of more than 300 athletes and coaches in swimming (135 athletes), chess (70 athletes), Boccia (24 athletes), archery (21 athletes) and Judo (27 athletes).
Accordingly, the opening ceremony of the tournament will take place at 9:00 a.m. on September 10 at the Ho Chi Minh City Sports Training and Competition Center.
Swimming and chess will be held from September 10 to 13, archery from September 11 to 12, boccia from September 11 to 13 and judo from September 11 to 12.
This is an important tournament to test, evaluate and select athletes to prepare for the 2025 ASEAN Para Games.
The tournament also affirms the profound humanistic significance of sports for people with disabilities: Creating opportunities for training, competition, social integration and affirming the will to live, contributing to spreading the spirit of "Sports for everyone - No one is left behind", building a compassionate and united community.
