More than 500 people participate in the run to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

In order to raise funds to support the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Buon Ma Thuot City, recently more than 500 people participated in the Thien Hanh Family Run.

The “Thien Hanh Family Run – For Community Health” race was organized by Thien Hanh General Hospital in collaboration with Dak Lak Provincial Running Association, attracting the participation of many running enthusiasts from Departments and Agencies in Dak Lak and neighboring provinces, medical staff throughout the province, members of running groups and local people.

More than 500 athletes of all ages competed on the long running route through Cao Thang - Van Tien Dung - Kim Dong, with the starting and finishing points located at Thien Hanh General Hospital. Along the running route, support teams, food and water were always ready. In particular, medical care and other safety measures on the running route were thoroughly implemented by the Hospital in coordination with functional units.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, MSc. Dr. Le Dang Trung - Director of Thien Hanh General Hospital shared: "Not only to mark the meaningful milestone of the 20th anniversary of the hospital's establishment, we hope that this activity also contributes to encouraging a positive, healthy lifestyle, spreading the spirit of sports and above all, contributing a small part to the fund to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses to bring a more solid home to the poor. Every step today has a profound humanitarian meaning and represents the community spirit of Thien Hanh Hospital."

At the end of the race, the entire amount of more than 85 million VND raised from the event was donated to the fund to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Tan An ward, Buon Ma Thuot city. Many athletes expressed their excitement at having the opportunity to both exercise and contribute to a meaningful, humane goal.

The race ended in a vibrant atmosphere and positive response from participants, marking a sporting event rich in humanity, contributing to spreading the spirit of mutual love of the nation. Hopefully, there will be more and more meaningful activities like this, not only to promote the sports movement but also to bring many practical values to the community.

This is also a highlight event in the series of celebrations of the 20th anniversary of Thien Hanh General Hospital.
