This afternoon, March 25th, the Provincial Innovation Council held a meeting to review and approve initiatives in the Education and Training sector for the 2023-2024 school year for individuals in Quang Tri province. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ha Sy Dong, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Innovation Council. Mr. Dao Manh Hung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province, also attended.
Accordingly, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Innovation Council, which is the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Board, has received applications for recognition of innovative solutions from 144 initiatives in the province.

The Provincial Emulation and Commendation Board, in coordination with several relevant departments, established a Provincial-level Innovation Scoring Council. As a result, 99 innovations met the criteria and regulations.
According to the assessment of the members of the Provincial Innovation Council, the initiatives demonstrated the purpose, reason, and urgency for their development, while also showcasing novelty, creativity, practicality, effectiveness, and provincial-level impact; they were also consistent with the functions and tasks of the agencies, sectors, and localities at the time the initiatives were proposed for implementation.
Regarding the 45 initiatives that did not meet the criteria, the solutions and initiatives were only applied at the grassroots level, had low effectiveness, and lacked specificity in their content.
In his concluding remarks, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong agreed with the opinions of the members of the Provincial Innovation Council, recognizing 99 innovations that met the conditions and regulations. He instructed the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Board to continue guiding those who have submitted applications for provincial-level innovation recognition to complete their dossiers for review when they meet the criteria.
On the same day, the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council held a meeting to approve the awarding of commendations under the authority of the President , the Prime Minister, and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the province in the first phase of 2025. The meeting was chaired by the Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council, Ha Sy Dong. Also in attendance were the Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Dao Manh Hung, and the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Ho Dai Nam.
At the meeting, members of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council discussed and gave opinions on awarding the First-Class Labor Medal to 1 collective; the Government's Emulation Flag to 13 collectives; the Prime Minister 's Certificate of Merit (for the emulation movement "For the poor - Leaving no one behind") to 3 collectives and 4 individuals; and the title of Provincial-level Emulation Soldier to 27 individuals.

In his concluding remarks, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong requested the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Board to finalize the dossiers and submit the emulation titles and forms of commendation at the national and provincial levels for eligible collectives and individuals in accordance with regulations.
At the same time, the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Board is tasked with continuing to review outstanding dossiers in order to advise the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council for consideration, comments, and appraisal in April 2025.
At the meeting, members of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council unanimously voted on the list of collectives and individuals who meet the conditions and standards to be recommended for commendation by higher authorities.
