Representatives of Viettel Enterprise Solutions Corporation and Microsoft Vietnam Company at the signing ceremony.
According to the signed agreement, Viettel and Microsoft will jointly deploy cloud computing technology, combining Viettel Cloud infrastructure and Microsoft Azure Cloud platform (one of the four largest cloud ecosystems in the world belonging to Microsoft) to improve products, localize Microsoft applications and distribute them domestically.
On Microsoft's side, using Viettel Cloud's data center infrastructure and understanding of the domestic market will help Azure Cloud solve problems for customers in the public administration segment. With the Azure Cloud ecosystem as well as data and artificial intelligence services such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Viettel will have many opportunities to cooperate, develop solutions and explore more business potential in rapidly growing services such as Speech Technology, OpenAI, Chat GPT...
The two sides also planned to co-create digital solutions based on each company's platform and capabilities. Viettel will take advantage of Microsoft's data and artificial intelligence technology to build industry-specific service packages for partners (telecommunications, banking, security, retail).
With the cooperation with Viettel, Microsoft products will be localized to suit the Vietnamese market, making it easier for customers to apply. In addition, the Speech & Language technology project is also being researched by both sides to serve the purpose of multilingual translation. Customers will have access to international standard technology that is suitable for the needs of Vietnamese people.
Within the framework of the signing ceremony, Microsoft representatives also shared information about some Cloud cooperation models that Microsoft has successfully achieved with telecommunications service providers in the region and around the world such as Jio, AT&T, LG U+, Vodafone, or Singtel, thereby presenting specific cooperation possibilities between the two sides.
