Meeting of the Group to develop a socio-economic thematic report to serve the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030

On May 15, comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Socio-Economic Report Development Team chaired a meeting to give opinions on the draft Socio-Economic Report for the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, and assigned tasks to the members of the Team. Attending the meeting were comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Nguyen Long Bien, Le Huyen, Trinh Minh Hoang.

At the meeting, members of the Socio-Economic Thematic Report Development Team gave their opinions on: Draft Plan for implementing the development of the Socio-Economic Thematic Report to serve the development of documents for the 15th Provincial Party Congress and Draft detailed outline of the Socio-Economic Thematic Report to serve the Political Report of the 15th Provincial Party Congress (term 2025-2030). At the same time, they gave their opinions on the Draft Notice of assignment of members of the Socio-Economic Thematic Report Development Team, with 5 groups of members, including: Standing Committee; Content Supervision, Evaluation and Review Board; Thematic Group of Economic Sectors; Thematic Group of Cultural and Social Sectors; Thematic Group of Effectiveness and Efficiency of State Apparatus at All Levels. Establishing the Socio-Economic Thematic Report Editorial Team headed by the Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, responsible for synthesizing and developing a draft report that meets the content requirements according to the Outline.

Concluding the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the members of the Group to promote their roles and responsibilities in researching carefully and implementing to ensure quality and progress according to the set plan. In addition, a workshop was organized to collect opinions from experts, prestigious scientists , and research agencies to identify the driving economic sectors, thereby proposing feasible and breakthrough solutions for the province's socio-economic development in the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2045. Thereby, striving by 2030, Ninh Thuan province will become a province with an average income in the upper middle group of the country, becoming a fairly developed province in the region and the country. Comrade Tran Quoc Nam suggested that each sector and field should focus on building a thorough assessment report of the results of the 2020-2025 term and identify and select key programs, projects or key topics of work to implement in the 2025-2030 term; continue to research, contribute constructive comments, propose appropriate ideas and solutions to gradually complete the thematic report to serve the 15th Provincial Party Congress to ensure the highest quality. Based on the research, members send written comments for synthesis and supplementation; have timely and specific information exchange between members, ensuring the progress of construction and completion of the report.
