On the morning of November 23, Hung Ha District People's Committee organized to listen and give opinions on the socio -economic development situation in 2023 and deploy directions and tasks in 2024.

In 2023, Hung Ha district focused on leadership, drastic direction, and flexible creativity in socio-economic development solutions, achieving quite comprehensive results, with economic development indicators all increasing compared to the same period in 2022. The total production value of the district is estimated at 23,041,033 billion VND, an increase of 6.38% over the same period in 2022 (ranked 3rd out of 8 districts and cities). Of which, the value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production is estimated at 3,968,133 billion VND, an increase of 2.58%; the value of industrial and construction production is estimated at 15,250 billion VND, an increase of 7.37%; the value of trade and service production is estimated at 3,822.9 billion VND, an increase of 6.55%. The district has 6 more OCOP products rated as 3 stars. Total state budget revenue is estimated at 1,601 billion VND, equal to 91% of the same period in 2022. The district has approved 58 compensation and site clearance support plans with a total recovered area of 223,369.3 ^m2 . During the year, 2 projects were approved by the Provincial People's Committee in principle for investment; 8 investment projects were evaluated by the district to request approval from the province. Attention was paid to cultural and social fields; national defense and security continued to be strengthened, and social order and safety were ensured.

2024 is an important year in implementing the 5-year plan goals of 2021 - 2025. Hung Ha district continues to focus on improving leadership, direction and operation capacity to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of state management; promote economic development; improve the investment and business environment, competitiveness to promote and attract investment; support and promote business development; accelerate the planning and construction of a synchronous infrastructure system, especially some key projects; strengthen resource management and environmental protection; pay attention to cultural and social development, social security policies, improve the material and spiritual life of the people; promote the construction of e-government, administrative reform; consolidate national defense, security, political stability, social order and safety. Strive for the district's socio-economic growth rate in 2024 to increase by 9.2%, average income per capita to reach 70.7 million VND/person/year; 8 communes to achieve advanced new rural area, 1 commune to achieve model new rural area, urbanization rate to reach 8.3%.
